Description

4. Students will evaluate and debate the ethical import of the various decisions made by managers, employees and business owners in the legal cases studied in class. Attention will be paid to the cultural and economic factors that influence the choices individuals make in the business environment.

5. Students will understand the ethical and economic values reflected in fundamental legal principles, as well as recognize the similarities and differences in values across cultures.

6. Students will discuss the value of the rule of law as an important principle constraining both private actors and governmental regulators. Students will understand the successes and failures various societies have had in implementing the rule of law.
