Description
Manufacturing resource planning (MRP II) is a follow-up to MRP that includes the planning of materials, personnel, and machinery. It supports linkages with sales and marketing in the organization via the development of a master production schedule. It also includes the capability to perform what-if-analyses on variances in schedules, raw materials availabilities, personnel, and other resources
